Πρόγραμμα τριήμερων εκδηλώσεων με την ευκαιρία της ανακήρυξης του δρ. Φρίντριχ Χρίστοφ Βάγκνερ (Dr. Friedrich Christof Wagner) σε επίτιμο δημότη Σίφνου

Τετάρτη 13 Ιουνίου 2018, ώρα 20:30, στην αυλή του Αγίου Κωνσταντίνου (πλατεία Αρτεμώνα):
-Παρουσίαση του βιβλίου του Αντώνη Λούτση “ΧΩΜΑ, ΝΕΡΟ, ΦΩΤΙΑ”, με θέμα την ιστορία των αγγειοπλαστών του Αμαρουσίου,
-παρουσίαση της μελέτης της Λυδίας Κοπτσοπούλου “ΑΝΑΒΙΩΝΟΝΤΑΣ ΤΗΝ ΑΓΓΕΙΟΠΛΑΣΤΙΚΗ ΤΕΧΝΗ ΤΗΣ ΣΙΦΝΟΥ”: μια ιστορική αναδρομή στην αγγειοπλαστική παράδοση του τόπου

Πέμπτη 14 Ιουνίου 2018, ώρα 20:30, στην αυλή της Παναγιάς του Βουνού:
-Ο Δήμος Σίφνου, ύστερα από πρόταση του Συλλόγου Επαγγελματιών και Εμπόρων της Σίφνου, ανακηρύσσει το δρ. Φρίντιχ Χρίστοφ Βάγκνερ σε επίτιμο δημότη Σίφνου, ως ελάχιστη ένδειξη σεβασμού & εκτίμησης στην προσωπικότητα του καθηγητή, αλλά και ως συμβολική έκφραση ευχαριστιών για την πολύτιμη προσφορά του στο νησί μας.επιτιμοσ
Στην εκδήλωση συμμετέχει χορευτική ομάδα του Π.Σ.Σ. και σιφναίικο τακίμι – Θα ακολουθήσει κέρασμα.

Παρασκευή 15 Ιουνίου 2018, ώρα 19:00, στο Γυμνάσιο (Αράδες):
-“H ΚΕΡΑΜΙΚΗ ΠΑΡΑΔΟΣΗ ΤΗΣ ΣΙΦΝΟΥ ΚΑΙ ΤΩΝ ΚΥΚΛΑΔΩΝ ΚΑΤΑ ΤΗ ΜΥΚΗΝΑΪΚΗ ΠΕΡΙΟΔΟ”: Διάλεξη του αρχαιολόγου Γιάννη Ζόγκου, υποψήφιου διδάκτορα του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων και μέλους του Διακρατικού Επιστημονικού Προγράμματος “Siphnos and beyond”,
-συνάντηση της ομάδας των Γερμανών καθηγητών με την εκπαιδευτική κοινότητα της Σίφνου για σχεδιασμό εκπαιδευτικών δράσεων.

Οι εκδηλώσεις διοργανώνονται από κοινού από το Δήμο Σίφνου και το Σύλλογο Επαγγελματιών & Εμπόρων της Σίφνου, με την πολύτιμη υποστήριξη του Πολιτιστικού Συλλόγου Σίφνου και τη συμμετοχή του Σωματείου Αγγειοπλαστών της Σίφνου.

Wednesday, June 13 2018, 08:30 pm, the courtyard of Saint Constantine (Artemonas square):
-Presentation of Antonis Loutsis’ book “EARTH, WATER, FIRE” (in Greek), which tells the story of Amarousio potters
-Presentation of Lydia Koptsopoulou’s study “RE-ESTABLISHING THE POTTERY ART OF SIFNOS” (in Greek): a historical review of the pottery tradition of the place

Thursday, June 14 2018, 8:30 pm, the courtyard of Saint Mary of the Mountain (Panagia tou Vounou):
-Municipality of Sifnos, after a proposal of the Association of Professionals & Merchants of Sifnos, declares Prof. Dr. Friedrich Christof Wagner an honorary resident of Sifnos, as the minimum mark of respect and appreciation for Professor’s personality, as well as an expression of gratitude for his invaluable contribution to our island.
The celebration will be honored with the participation of a dance group of the Cultural Association of Sifnos and a takimi of Sifnos – Treats will be offered.

Friday, June 15 2018, 7:00 pm, Secondary School of Arades:
-“The pottery tradition of Sifnos and the Cyclades during the Mycenaean period”: A lecture by the archaeologist Ioannis Zogkos, Doctoral candidate of University of Ioannina and member of the International Scientific Project “Siphnos and beyond”,
-a meeting of the team of German professors with the educational community of Sifnos for the planning of educational activities.

All events are organized under the common aegis of the Municipality of Sifnos and the Association of Professionals & Merchants of Sifnos with the valuable support of the Cultural Association of Sifnos and the participation of the Union of Potters of Sifnos.
